Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of CSP Screener and the CSP Alerts text-message program, operated by Ryan Garrett ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

CSP Screener is a personal, invitation-only tool that reads your brokerage account and market data and suggests cash-secured put trades and exits. Access is by invitation, and we may change, suspend or end the service, or your access to it, at any time.

Not financial advice

Everything the service shows, including suggestions, yields, alerts and profit and loss, is information for your own research. It is not investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Options trading involves substantial risk, and cash-secured puts can lose much more than the premium received. Market data and calculations may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.

Your brokerage account

The service uses read-only access to the tastytrade account you connect. It never places, changes or cancels orders. Your use of tastytrade is governed by your agreements with tastytrade. You may disconnect at any time.

Acceptable use

Keep your sign-in to yourself, use the service only for your own accounts, and do not try to reach other users' data, disrupt the service or get around its security.

SMS terms (CSP Alerts)

• Program. CSP Alerts sends trading alerts about your own account (for example, a position to close or a suggested replacement) and verification codes. There is no marketing.
• Opting in. You opt in by entering your own mobile number in the app's notification settings, checking the consent box, and entering the 6-digit code we text you. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
• Frequency. Message frequency varies with market activity, up to 30 messages per day.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply.
• Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts; we will confirm by text and send no more. Reply START to resubscribe. You can also remove your number in the app.
• Help. Reply HELP to any message, or email help@vertical13.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Your number is used only for this program; see the Privacy Policy.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and uninterrupted availability. Alerts may arrive late or not at all; do not rely on them as your only way of watching your positions.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any trading losses or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. The service is provided free of charge, and our total liability for any claim is limited to US$100.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States.
